Meet Ellie

You don’t need to have
everything figured out.

My passion for counselling began through my own experience of being a client. Having experienced how meaningful the therapeutic process can be, I was inspired to train and support others in finding their own way forward.

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a life that feels calmer, more fulfilling and more authentic. My aim is to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognise your strengths and build confidence in how you move through life.

Alongside my professional training, I bring understanding shaped by my own life experiences. I know life can be messy and overwhelming, and I value the trust it takes to share your story.

You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear idea of what to say. Sometimes, simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right is enough reason to seek support.

How I can help

emotional challenges.

We can begin with whatever feels most important to you, whether it concerns your wellbeing, relationships or family life.

04Self-esteem and confidence
05Limiting beliefs and self-doubt

07Couples and relationship concerns
08Living with chronic illness
09Difficult life transitions
10Feeling lost, overwhelmed or stuck
11The impact of traumatic experiences
12Alcohol dependency
13Parenting difficulties
14Raising neurodivergent children or children with additional needs

My approach

Your story.
Your pace.

I work predominantly from a person-centred approach. You are the expert on your own life, and our work is guided by your needs.

You will never be pressured to discuss something you’re not ready to explore or to move at a pace that feels uncomfortable. I offer a supportive relationship where you can feel heard and accepted without judgement.

Where appropriate, I also draw on CBT-informed techniques and exercises to help you recognise unhelpful thinking patterns, develop coping strategies and explore new ways of approaching situations.

Our work can support greater self-awareness and self-compassion, emotional resilience, confidence and a clearer understanding of your needs and relationships.

Parents & families

Space for your wellbeing, too.

I have a particular understanding of the challenges of raising neurodivergent children or children with additional needs. Parenting can bring joy alongside exhaustion, worry and isolation.

Therapy gives you space to talk openly about your experiences and consider how to care for yourself alongside your family’s needs.

Couples & relationships

Understanding each other.

Couples sessions offer space to explore communication difficulties, recurring disagreements, emotional distance, trust and changes in your relationship.

We can focus on understanding each other, recognising repeating patterns and communicating more openly. I also support individuals with relationship or family difficulties.

Qualifications & training

Professional learning. Personal understanding.

  • Level 4 Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling
  • Studying towards a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Counselling
  • Level 3 Counselling Skills
  • Level 2 Safeguarding Adults – Advanced
  • Additional training in supporting people who self-harm
